What is Copreo?
Copreo is a finance app for iPhone and Android that brings current accounts, credit cards and portfolios from more than 3,000 banks together in one overview. Transactions are sorted automatically, and budgets and recurring payments stay in view. Copreo costs €2.99 a month, shows no ads and does not sell data. It is run by SpuhlerLabs UG in Wiesbaden.

What Copreo does
You connect your accounts once, and from then on balances and transactions update on their own. Copreo shows everything in one place: current account, credit card, savings account and portfolio, even across several banks at once.
- Sorted transactions: Cryptic booking texts become readable merchant names with a matching category. If you correct a category, Copreo remembers it.
- Budgets: Limits per category show how much is left this month.
- Recurring payments: Rent, electricity, mobile, insurance and subscriptions are detected, with the next due date and the monthly and yearly total.
- Net worth overview: Accounts and portfolios — stocks, ETFs and funds — add up to one total.
Copreo is a tool for information and organisation. It does not give investment, financial or tax advice, and you cannot make payments through the app.
Who Copreo is for
Copreo is offered exclusively to consumers resident in Germany who are at least 18 (Terms § 1 (3)). The same applies to the free launch test phase, as set out in the terms of participation.
How the account connection works
Copreo does not connect to your accounts itself. That is done by BANKSapi Technology GmbH in Munich, a payment service provider licensed and supervised by BaFin, Germany's financial supervisory authority. Copreo only uses BANKSapi to retrieve account data and never initiates payments. You enter your online banking credentials with BANKSapi or your bank; they are never passed on to Copreo.
