Delete your Copreo account and data

What happens after the request

• Your access is locked immediately and all signed-in sessions are ended.
• The access authorisations at your banks are revoked immediately; from that moment on we no longer retrieve any financial data.
• Final deletion takes place seven days after we receive the request.
• Until then you can cancel the deletion at any time — via the link in our confirmation email or in the app.
• We remind you by email three days and one day before execution.

What gets deleted

• Account data: profile, credentials, language setting, app settings
• Bank connections and access authorisations
• Transactions, categories and budgets
• Portfolio data
• Subscriptions and recorded contracts
• Push tokens and device details

What we are required to retain

• Payment and invoice records: pseudonymised for ten years, due to the statutory retention obligations under Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO) and Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB).
• Security logs: as evidence of proper processing.
• Backups: your data only disappears from these with the regular rotation cycle, but is no longer used in the meantime.

Your subscription is not cancelled along with it

Deleting your account does not end an active subscription. You need to cancel it separately in the Google Play Store under “Payments and subscriptions”, or in the App Store under “Subscriptions”.
